Privacy Policy
Short version: your library stays local. We only collect minimal, anonymous usage telemetry (Can be disabled).
What we do (and don’t) collect
- We do not upload your audiobook files.
- We do not send your library paths or filenames as telemetry.
- We do not collect ABS tokens or other secrets as analytics.
- We may collect anonymous usage metrics (see below) to improve features / UX.
Anonymous analytics (PostHog)
Shelfarr can send anonymous events (for example: settings saved, scans started/completed, error counts). These are used to understand which features are used and where things break.
App version, install mode (docker vs local), coarse platform info (server/container OS), and high-level feature usage. No file names, no paths, no audio content.

Website analytics (Google Analytics)
The Shelfarr documentation site uses Google Analytics to understand page traffic and improve docs. This may set cookies in your browser. You can block cookies in your browser settings if you prefer.
